French group Ponroy changes his name. It is now Havea group, as announced on June 21st. Along with this new denomination come new ambitions on domestic and international markets.
Product innovation and digital transformation
Created in 1975 in Boufféré, Vendée, Ponroy owns many brands in the health and wellbeing industry, such as Biolane, Yves Ponroy, or Naturé Moi. The company keeps developing, with a 10% organic growth rate over the last two years and a 180 Million Euros turnover in 2018. So far, it employs 800 people in 8 countries.
Its new CEO, Nicolas Brodetsky, says he wants to make the company the European leader of natural-based food supplements and baby hygiene. He also intends to develop the company presence on niche markets and plans therefore new acquisitions in Italy and Spain and “product innovations on its flagship brands.” The group will also launch a new e-commerce site, thus initiating its digital transformation.
A CSR approach to meet customers expectations
Answering to the rise of health and environmental concerns among its clients, the company is planning a major communication campaign. It will highlight the pillars of its CSR approach: certifications, environmentally friendly packaging, or recycling. More than ever, ecological and responsible – but will customers follow?
